The Brain That Plays
Newborn Care Specialist
As a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), my goal is to empower parents and support families as they welcome a new addition. I provide education, guidance and hands-on support during the newborn stage- helping families create routines that feel realistic, supportive, developmentally appropriate and aligned with their values. This season is a time of huge transition, having the right support can make all the difference in building confidence and finding your rhythm together as a family.

While newborn care often includes overnight support, every family's needs are different. We will take the time to talk through what support looks like for your family and create a plan that feels right for you- there is no one-size-fits-all approach here.

Support may include:
- Newborn sleep foundations and gentle routines
- Feeding Support (within scope and in collaboration with families and providers)
- Soothing techniques and understanding newborn cues
- Infant development and behavior
- Postpartum adjustment and support for parents.

Every family I work with receives individualized, tailored support. Babies are unique, parents are unique and the care you receive should reflect that. My role is to meet you where you are, support your goals, and help you feel confident as you step into this new chapter.

Families may choose to work with an NCS prenatally or after their baby arrives. Support can be especially helpful for first-time parents, families with multiples, or anyone wanting extra guidance during the newborn transition.

Services vary based on availability and family's needs. I'd love to connect- please fill out the contact form below, and I'll be happy to set up a consultant call to talk through what support could look like for your family.
