Sleep is never just about the child - it's about the family as a whole. In my sleep consulting work, we gently zoom out and look at the full picture: daily rhythms, sensory needs, environment, emotional well-being, and family dynamics. When we support the entire system of the home, sleep becomes more sustainable and restorative for everyone. This is why my approach is considered holistic coaching- we don't isolate sleep from the rest of life, we integrate it.

My foundation as a certified Newborn Care Specialist deeply shapes this work. In those early postpartum weeks, I have had the privilege of walking alongside families as they adjust to life with a newborn- support feeding rhythms, creating calming sleep environments, and helping parents feel confident in reading their baby's cues. Those early days matter. Gentle guidance around sleep hygiene, environment, and daily flow lays the groundwork for healthy development and parental well-being long term.

Good sleep hygiene is not about rigid schedules or unrealistic expectations. It's about building supportive habits that align with a child's developmental stage while honoring the needs of the caregivers, too. From optimizing the sleep space and understanding circadian rhythms to supporting nervous system regulation and predictable bedtime routines, these intentional shifts can make a profound difference. When families feel empowered with evidence-based knowledge and practical tools, sleep becomes less overwhelming and far more restorative.

Rooted in my continued education through the International Parenting and Health Institute (IPHI), my work blends science with compassion and flexibility. While my current focus is maternity, infants, and young children, my desire to deepen my understanding of sleep across the lifespan continues to grow. Sleep impacts mental health, relationships, stress levels, and overall wellness- and I am committed to expanding my services in the near future to support families even more fully.
